Course Rating Corrections: How to Request & Resolve Errors
What should I do if a course rating, slope rating, or yardage appears incorrect?
The course should contact AZ GOLF so the necessary adjustments can be reviewed and made. If a course has changes that need to be addressed, the rating team can update the course when it is rated again.
How are course rating corrections handled?
Course ratings are maintained in the database until the course is re-rated. AZ GOLF reviews the current rating and can research when the course will be rated again.
When will a course be rated again?
Courses are required to be rated every 10 years, or sooner if the course specifically requests a re-rate. Annual USGA course rating calibrations also take place.
What information is used when reviewing a correction?
The current database listing is treated as the current rating. If changes have been made to the course, those changes should be brought to AZ GOLF's attention so the necessary adjustments can be made.
Who should contact AZ GOLF about a rating correction?
The course should contact AZ GOLF directly if changes need to be addressed for a future rating review or correction.
