Fix Data Integrity Error for GHIN/AZ eClub Signups
What the "Data Integrity Error" indicates
- The system displays "Data Integrity Error – Please contact your golf association." when it cannot complete a GHIN reactivation or AZ eClub signup because required account data is inconsistent or missing.
- This can occur when reactivating an inactive GHIN number from another state or an account that no longer has contact details (email or phone) on file.
- The error has been associated with intermittent system issues in the signup/integration flow used to add or reactivate GHINs.
How to resolve the error
-
Try the AZ eClub signup again
- On the AZ eClub signup page, select "YES" when asked if you already have a GHIN number.
- Enter your GHIN number. If the system recognizes your GHIN, your name will appear.
- Follow the prompts to complete payment. Once payment is processed, your GHIN account is reactivated, and you may resume posting scores.
-
If the Data Integrity Error appears during signup
- Contact the association for assistance so staff can help complete the activation. Association staff can manually add or activate golfers when the online flow fails.
- If the golfer’s inactive GHIN profile lacks an email or phone number, the USGA can manually add those contact details to the inactive profile to allow activation. Association staff may coordinate with USGA to request this update.
-
Manual staff assistance and coordination
- Association staff can manually add a golfer or manually process a membership when the online form returns the Data Integrity Error.
- In some cases staff will collect the necessary details and work with system vendors or the USGA to correct the data and complete the activation.
Troubleshooting tips
- If you are reactivating a GHIN from another state or an account that has been inactive for several years, expect that contact details on the old profile may be missing and could cause this error.
- Have any known GHIN numbers available when you contact the association—this speeds manual lookup and resolution.
- If you reach out and the online form fails, request that association staff check whether the inactive GHIN profile needs an email or phone added by the USGA.
