Galaxy Digital Volunteer Portal – Additional Features Overview

Dashboard & Left Menu:

  • Dashboard shows your total volunteer hours, broken down by skill (e.g., tournaments, marketing, course rating).
  • Click on hours or Opportunity Responses to see past and upcoming event details.
  • Spotlights are messages or links from staff (e.g., upload rule certifications, access handbooks).
  • Programs offer a filtered view of events by type (e.g., USGA qualifiers, social events, JGAA).
  • Use the “See More Opportunities” link to view the full list within a program.

Profile Menu (Top Right):

  • Click your initials to view or edit your profile, track hours, or see your files.
  • Changing contact info? Notify staff so GHIN and volunteer databases stay aligned.
  • You can deactivate your profile if needed, but this action is permanent.

Files & Groups:

  • My Files is mainly used by Rules Officials to upload certifications.
  • User Groups determine which opportunities you can see (e.g., course raters won’t see rules official events unless added to that group).

Inbox & Help:

  • The Inbox shows system messages (e.g., confirmations, thank-you's).
  • The Help button links to Galaxy Digital’s Knowledge Base.
    • Note: Some features like the mobile app or check-in kiosk are not currently used.
