How do I cancel my USGA/Arizona GC or AZ GOLF membership?
If you mistakenly joined or renewed your membership and would like to cancel:
- For the USGA/Arizona GC, email the USGA at HDCPquestions@usga.org or customersupport@usga.org to let them know.
- If you cancel within 14 days of activation or renewal, you will receive a full refund.
- For any other Arizona club, contact your handicap chair or reach out to us at info@azgolf.org.
If partway through your membership year you know you will not be utilizing your membership any longer, for example if you will not be golfing anymore, and want to change to a new club, or if you are moving out of state, you would not cancel your membership. Instead, you would let it go inactive when it expires. It’s always a good idea to inform your Handicap Chairperson or a club officer so you can be inactivated for the remainder of the membership.
**Important reminder! If you’re moving to a new club or are moving out of state, continue using your existing Handicap ID/GHIN number when you join a new club to retain your score history and Handicap Index®. You should only ever have one Handicap ID/GHIN number.
