If partway through your membership year you know you will no longer be using your membership — for example, if you will not be golfing anymore, you want to move to a new club, or you are moving out of state — do not cancel your membership. Instead, allow it to expire naturally at the end of the membership period. We recommend informing your Handicap Chairperson or a club officer so that your membership can be marked inactive for the remainder of the year. you can be inactivated for the remainder of the membership.
**Important Reminder:** If you’re moving to a new club or relocating out of state, always continue using your existing Handicap ID/GHIN number when joining your new club to retain your full score history and Handicap Index®. You should only ever have one Handicap ID/GHIN number. If you are unsure of your existing Handicap ID/GHIN number, contact your club's Handicap Chairperson or reach out to us at info@azgolf.org.**
