How many scores do I have to post before I get a Handicap Index®?
To establish a Handicap Index, you must play and post a total of 54 holes to your scoring record. These 54 holes can be completed in any combination of 9-hole and 18-hole rounds. (World Handicap System, Rules of Handicapping, Rule 4.5) Scores are posted through an authorized golf association or via a system such as GHIN (Golf Handicap and Information Network). For more information on how to post scores, contact your local golf association or club.
