How to Join, Renew, or Reactivate Your GHIN Membership & Handicap Index®
Whether you are new, renewing, or reactivating, you will always use the same GHIN Number—this number stays with you for life and keeps your scoring history and Handicap Index in one place, regardless of where you play or which club you join.
If you do not know your GHIN Number, use the USGA Handicap ID Lookup tool.
If you need help along the way, Chip, our online chatbot, is available to provide quick answers and guide you through common questions and troubleshooting.
Step 1: Determine What You Need
-
If you already have a GHIN Number, you should renew or reactivate your membership using that same GHIN Number.
-
If you have never had a GHIN Number before, you will need to join a membership. A unique GHIN Number will be created for you during signup.
Step 2: Choose the Membership Option That Best Fits You (All AZ GOLF memberships include full AZ GOLF member benefits)
-

AZ GOLF Member Clubs
-
AZ GOLF partners with 560+ member clubs across Arizona. Some offer direct online join or renewal links through our Club Directory, while others require you to contact the club directly or visit the clubhouse to join.
-
Click HERE to search our Club Directory for an authorized AZ GOLF Member Club.
-
When You Are Using the Club Directory: The Club Directory works best when you search using only one simple term. Do not use multiple filters at the same time, as that may prevent results from appearing.
-
For example, search: "palm valley"
-
Avoid combining: City, Gender, Play days, Age range, etc.
-
Pro Tip: If your club does not appear, try searching only part of the club name.
