How to Join, Renew, or Reactivate Your GHIN Membership & Handicap Index®
How do I join, renew, or reactivate an AZ GOLF membership?
To join, renew, or reactivate an AZ GOLF membership, choose the membership option that fits your situation and use your existing GHIN Number if you have one. New members will receive a GHIN Number during signup. All options are outlined in the steps below.
Whether you are new, renewing, or reactivating, you will always use the same GHIN Number—this number stays with you for life and keeps your scoring history and Handicap Index in one place, regardless of where you play or which club you join.If you do not know your GHIN Number, use the USGA Handicap ID Lookup tool.
Step 1: Determine what you need
-
If you already have a GHIN Number, you should renew or reactivate your membership using that same GHIN Number.
-
If you have never had a GHIN Number before, you will need to join a membership. A unique GHIN Number will be created for you at the time of registration.
Step 2: Select the membership option that fits your needs

When you are using the Club Directory
The Club Directory works best when you search using only one simple term. Do not use multiple filters at the same time, as that may prevent results from appearing.
- For example, search: "palm valley".
- Avoid combining: City, Gender, Play days, Age range, etc.
Note: If your club does not appear in the results, try searching using only part of the club name.
