How do I find my Handicap ID/GHIN Number?

You can find your Handicap ID/GHIN Number in four ways: ask the AI Member Agent Chip, use the online Handicap ID Lookup tool, log in to the GHIN website or app and view your profile, or contact your Club Administrator or Handicap Chair.

Ask our AI Member Agent, Chip, to look up your Handicap ID/GHIN Number. You will need to provide the email address linked to your GHIN account and confirm your identity before Chip can share this information.
Use the online Handicap ID Lookup tool at handicapidlookup.usga.org with your last name and email address.
Log in to the GHIN website or the GHIN mobile app. Once logged in, navigate to your profile — your GHIN Number is displayed at the top of the profile page.
Contact your Club Administrator or Handicap Chair.

What if I just joined a club and have not yet received my Handicap ID/GHIN Number?

If you just joined a club, your welcome email — which contains your Handicap ID/GHIN Number — may take up to 24 hours to arrive. If it hasn't arrived after 24 hours, check your spam or junk folder, or contact your Club Administrator or Handicap Chair.
